The Languaging Diversity conference series is one of the key academic initiatives sponsored by the I-LanD (Identity, Language and Diversity) Research Centre. Since its inception in 2013, the conference has offered an international platform for scholars working on discourse, identity, language, and diversity to share and debate their research in an interdisciplinary and inclusive environment. Each edition is hosted by a different university, both in Italy and abroad, and focuses on a specific theme relevant to contemporary sociolinguistic, discursive, and cultural dynamics.
While the I-LanD Research Centre offers its official patronage to the event, the full responsibility for the organization, logistics, and management of each edition lies with the hosting institution.
