ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS: CRITERIA FOR INVITATION
As a prominent feature of academic journals, the Advisory Board provides guidance to the Editor(s) in Chief. The presence of scholars with honorary appointments confers reputational value on the journal.
The Editors in Chief are responsible for inviting scholars to join the Advisory Board on the basis of the following criteria:
• scholarly achievements and expertise;
• coverage of the main subject areas of the journal;
• attention to diversity and inclusion to ensure a varied board in terms of gender, career stage / age, etc.;
• international representation in terms of members’ institutional affiliations;
• holding the academic rank of full professor (or equivalent scholarly qualification).
The Director of the I-LanD Research Center is also entitled to sit on the Advisory Board during their mandate.
Members of the Advisory Board may be renewed and/or appointed every three years.
